I’m a mind. i’m a body. i’m a soul.

Infatuating listeners with a unique and undeniable sound, the four members of I’MAGENE have boldly pioneered their way into a new realm of modern music. They have combined the soulful and irrefutable vocal talent of singer, Anthony O’Shae with an instrument-driven body of music nestled on an 80’s-style waterbed of lush synth-pop texture that is as mysterious as it is elegant. The melancholic mood can be felt throughout their indie-released debut EP titled, (I’m-a-gene).

I’MAGENE was formed in the Panhandle region of Florida, also known as the Emerald Coast, after gaining local acclaim under the band’s former name, Continuum. Their successes included an EP, a full-length album and a live-album along with festival appearances, nationwide touring that culminated to a performance at the 2016 Hangout Music Festival main stage in Gulf Shores, AL sharing the bill with, The Weeknd, Florence + the Machine, Alabama Shakes and Elle Goulding. After gaining vital experience in artistry and industry, the band amassed a resumé of over 1,500 live performances. Over time, members, Anthony O’Shae (vocals), Jessica Heit (violin, keytar), Robby Walton (guitar, keys, bass, vocals) and Charlie Buice (drums) had uncovered their own singular style and decided to ascend to new heights. Surmounting its previous persona, the band became I’MAGENE.

In November of 2017, I’MAGENE released their debut single, “Faded”, which, along with a music video, was received with regional and national praise, quickly reaching thousands of streams on Spotify and YouTube. “Faded” was featured as the lead track on their debut EP, (I’m-a-gene) which was released a year later in November of 2018. The five-song extended play was produced and engineered by Jeremy SH Griffith (Johnnyswim, Old Sea Brigade) and featured other songs such as, “Gooey” and “The Beat”.

After a sold-out farewell performance in their hometown of Fort Walton Beach, FL, the four members of I’MAGENE relocated to Nashville, TN to further their artistry and to expound on their fast-paced success.
